Mobile broadband devices can experience peak speeds of up to 3.1 Mbps for the download and 1.8 Mbps for the upload. Mohave uses commercially available software to measure its network performance on a daily basis. Customers can verify speed using a variety of third-party applications and websites, such as www.broadband.gov/qualitytest/about/ (as of November 20, 2011), to measure the provisional speeds of Mohave’s broadband service. Such third-party websites are not affiliated with Mohave and the company does make any guarantees as to the accuracy of test results obtained through those third-parties. Actual speeds may vary due to area, coverage and compression, among other factors. Instead, Mohave uses an “open pipe” approach and undertakes best efforts to ensure a high-quality online experience for all of its customers. As a result, at times of heavy usage, customers may experience delays in downloading or upload files or a sluggish experience Web surfing experience.
